Senior Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Buffalo, NY)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Wilder Water Authority and adding a Senior Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be variance reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of water quality and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with treatment plant data. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Buffalo. • We reply to every applicant.
