Senior Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Boise, ID)

Fernwood Ivory Foods is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst. The job centres on variance reporting for ingredient orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 72 people based in Boise. What you will do • Model the cost of ingredient orders and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with allergen controls. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Boise, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
