Senior Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Baltimore, MD)

Bluepeak Hollow Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Baltimore. We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. We work closely with regulators and communities. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of billing disputes and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with hardship programmes. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
