Senior Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Austin, TX)

Nova Ashton Banking Services Group is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst. The job centres on variance reporting for card disputes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 37 people based in Austin. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of card disputes and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with loan files. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Austin, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
