Senior Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Austin, TX)

Redstone Forge Transit Planning Group is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst. The job centres on variance reporting for survey data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of survey data and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with fare systems. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
