Senior Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Austin, TX)

We are growing our team at Northwind Thistle Water Authority and adding a Senior Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be variance reporting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Austin. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with water quality. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Austin. • We reply to every applicant.
