Senior Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Anchorage, AK)

Fernwood Meridian Foods Partners produces packaged foods at its Anchorage plant. We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with ingredient orders. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Anchorage. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
