Senior Financial Analyst - pricing analysis (San Jose, CA)

Cedar Ember Water Authority is a public water utility serving the San Jose area, and we need a Senior Financial Analyst to lead our pricing analysis. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with meter reading. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
