Senior Financial Analyst - pricing analysis (remote)

Fernwood Lantern Manufacturing makes precision components in Birmingham. We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to take on pricing analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Model the cost of machine downtime and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with work orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
