Senior Financial Analyst - pricing analysis (Kansas City, MO)

Fernwood River Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Kansas City plant. We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to take on pricing analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of scrap and rework and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with tooling. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Kansas City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
