Senior Financial Analyst - pricing analysis (Des Moines, IA)

Bright Wilder Insurance is an insurance company in Des Moines with claims and service teams, and we need a Senior Financial Analyst to lead our pricing analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 138 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of underwriting files and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with catastrophe response. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
