Senior Financial Analyst - pricing analysis (Chicago, IL)

Foxglove Iron Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Chicago, and we need a Senior Financial Analyst to lead our pricing analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of customer complaints and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with catastrophe response. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
