Senior Financial Analyst - pricing analysis (Birmingham, AL)

Ironwood Sparrow Banking Services is a regional lender in Birmingham with branches and a growing mobile service, and we need a Senior Financial Analyst to lead our pricing analysis. Most people here started in a branch and stayed. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of loan files and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with card disputes. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
