Senior Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Seattle, WA)

Silverline Vista Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Seattle area. We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of billing accounts and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with pipe repairs. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Seattle. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
