Senior Financial Analyst - cost modelling (San Diego, CA)

Lumen Ridge Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around San Diego, and we need a Senior Financial Analyst to lead our cost modelling. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of claims and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with customer complaints. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Diego. • We reply to every applicant.
