Senior Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Rochester, NY)

Cedar Vista Water Authority is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst. The job centres on cost modelling for billing accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 624 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Model the cost of billing accounts and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with treatment plant data. • A relevant degree or certification.
