Senior Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Rochester, NY)

Ironwood Maple Manufacturing is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst. The job centres on cost modelling for work orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of work orders and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with machine downtime. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
