Senior Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Rochester, NY)

Rivermark Orchard Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Rochester design routes and schedules, and we need a Senior Financial Analyst to lead our cost modelling. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Model the cost of survey data and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with fare systems. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Rochester, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
