Senior Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Rochester, NY)

Harborlight Union Foods Group is a Rochester food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need a Senior Financial Analyst to lead our cost modelling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of allergen controls and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with production batches. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
