Senior Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Richmond, VA)

We are growing our team at Cedar Willow Insurance and adding a Senior Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be cost modelling. You would join a large organisation of about 302 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Model the cost of underwriting files and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with policy renewals. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
