Senior Financial Analyst - cost modelling (remote)

Lumen Pine Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Grand Rapids, and we need a Senior Financial Analyst to lead our cost modelling. You would join a small organisation of about 44 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of premium billing and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with customer complaints. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
