Senior Financial Analyst - cost modelling (remote)

Fernwood Quarry Telecom Partners provides broadband and phone service around Kansas City. We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. Technicians and office staff share information daily. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of customer tickets and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with outage reports. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Kansas City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
