Senior Financial Analyst - cost modelling (remote)

We are growing our team at Northwind Lantern Insurance and adding a Senior Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be cost modelling. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of underwriting files and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with catastrophe response. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Austin. • We reply to every applicant.
