Senior Financial Analyst - cost modelling (remote)

Redstone Loom Insurance is an insurance company in Austin with claims and service teams, and we need a Senior Financial Analyst to lead our cost modelling. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of catastrophe response and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with policy renewals. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
