Senior Financial Analyst - cost modelling (remote)

Bluepeak Nest Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Rochester and nearby communities. We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. You would join a small organisation of about 186 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with pipe repairs. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
