Senior Financial Analyst - cost modelling (remote)

Bright Drift Energy is an energy provider in Portland focused on reliable service and fair billing. We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. We work closely with regulators and communities. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of usage data and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with meter readings. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
