Senior Financial Analyst - cost modelling (remote)

We are growing our team at Bright North Insurance Group and adding a Senior Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be cost modelling. You would join a large organisation of about 696 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Model the cost of underwriting files and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with policy renewals. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
