Senior Financial Analyst - cost modelling (remote)

Amberfield West Energy is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst. The job centres on cost modelling for usage data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of usage data and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with outage response. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
