Senior Financial Analyst - cost modelling (remote)

Bright Ember Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Jackson area. We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of meter reading and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with pipe repairs. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Jackson. • We reply to every applicant.
