Senior Financial Analyst - cost modelling (remote)

Northwind Lakeside Energy is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst. The job centres on cost modelling for outage response, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of outage response and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with meter readings. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
