Senior Financial Analyst - cost modelling (remote)

Northwind Fern Telecom provides broadband and phone service around Madison. We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. You would join a small organisation of about 28 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of customer tickets and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Madison. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
