Senior Financial Analyst - cost modelling (remote)

Northwind Sparrow Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Boise design routes and schedules. We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Model the cost of route schedules and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with survey data. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Boise. • We reply to every applicant.
