Senior Financial Analyst - cost modelling (remote)

Amberfield Wilder Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Denver and nearby communities, and we need a Senior Financial Analyst to lead our cost modelling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of capital projects and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Denver. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
