Senior Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Portland, OR)

Fernwood Harbor Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Portland, and we need a Senior Financial Analyst to lead our cost modelling. Safety comes first on every shift. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of usage data and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with billing disputes. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Portland. • We reply to every applicant.
