Senior Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Philadelphia, PA)

Northwind West Transit Planning Group is a transit-planning firm in Philadelphia working with agencies and riders, and we need a Senior Financial Analyst to lead our cost modelling. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with service alerts. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Philadelphia. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
