Senior Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Oakland, CA)

Lumen Drift Legal Group is a Oakland practice with attorneys, paralegals and client-service staff, and we need a Senior Financial Analyst to lead our cost modelling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of billing records and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with client files. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
