Senior Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Jackson, MS)

Cedar Fern Civic Services provides shared administrative services to local governments around Jackson, and we need a Senior Financial Analyst to lead our cost modelling. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of procurement and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with permits.
