Senior Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Honolulu, HI)

We are growing our team at Nova Amber Insurance and adding a Senior Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be cost modelling. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of customer complaints and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with catastrophe response. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Honolulu, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
