Senior Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Grand Rapids, MI)

Redstone Wren Transit Planning Group helps transport agencies around Grand Rapids design routes and schedules, and we need a Senior Financial Analyst to lead our cost modelling. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of route schedules and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with survey data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
