Senior Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Denver, CO)

Fernwood Yarrow Foods is a Denver food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. You would join a small organisation of about 149 people based in Denver. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of production batches and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Denver. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
