Senior Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Birmingham, AL)

Amberfield Cedar Civic Services supports public agencies in Birmingham with budgeting, records and programmes. We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of case files and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with constituent requests. • A relevant degree or certification.
