Senior Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Birmingham, AL)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Rowan Transit Planning and adding a Senior Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be cost modelling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of ridership counts and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with service alerts.
