Senior Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Baltimore, MD)

We are growing our team at Cedar Water Authority and adding a Senior Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be cost modelling. You would join a large organisation of about 723 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of treatment plant data and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with capital projects. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
