Senior Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Virginia Beach, VA)

Harborlight Rook Markets is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst. The job centres on budgeting and forecasting for shrink and waste, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of shrink and waste and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with supplier deliveries. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Virginia Beach, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
