Senior Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Seattle, WA)

Summit Hollow Transit Planning Group helps transport agencies around Seattle design routes and schedules, and we need a Senior Financial Analyst to lead our budgeting and forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Model the cost of service alerts and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with survey data.
