Senior Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Seattle, WA)

Westbrook Glen Civic Services supports public agencies in Seattle with budgeting, records and programmes. We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Seattle. What you will do • Model the cost of permits and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with case files. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Seattle. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
