Senior Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Salt Lake City, UT)

Fernwood Telecom is a telecommunications provider in Salt Lake City focused on reliable home and business connections, and we need a Senior Financial Analyst to lead our budgeting and forecasting. Technicians and office staff share information daily. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of outage reports and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Salt Lake City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
