Senior Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Rochester, NY)

Bluepeak Ember Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Rochester. We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 39 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of supplier deliveries and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with store inventory.
