Senior Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Rochester, NY)

Northwind Granite Manufacturing is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst. The job centres on budgeting and forecasting for production lines, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 279 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of production lines and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with machine downtime. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
