Senior Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (remote)

Northwind Linden Civic Services works with county and city offices around Denver. We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Model the cost of permits and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with public records. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Denver. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
